Common Pool Terms FAQ:
English: Typically just a fancy way of saying you want to put some spin on the ball.
8 ball : Most common type of pool, you need to sink 8 balls to win.
9 ball: Another cool form of pool where you need to get the balls sunk in order
Cue: Also refered to as the cute stick, its the stick you shoot with.
Cue Ball: Also often called the white ball, its the ball you hit with the cute stick.
Ball in Hand: Often when a mistake is made then you can put the cue ball wherever you want
Rack: it is the tool used to align the balls at the start of the match.
